QT Signature plates.
Immediately available and never previously displayed, these have sat in a drawer for 17 years since their release. All two-character plates sold out on the day of release with people camping out at Vicroads to try and secure the best combinations.
These have appreciated significantly in value since their release as with just 600 combinations available they are rare and desirable. Two-character (letters) signature plates are currently changing hands at various sums depending on the appeal of the combination. A repeating character two-character plate traded hands for almost $60,000 in Jan 2022 and I'm aware of four other two-character plates which have traded hands recently at $25,000 each - and they weren't as widely appealing as QT.
